Another Sunday, another competitive game in the High Peak League. This week we played Tintwhistle Blacks. Both teams played some very attractive football.
New Mills settled quickly into a new formation, mixing up the play very nicely going forward. Going behind from a great free kick from distance, the New Mills coaches could not be more proud of the response from the Mini Millers; they showed amazing battling qualities to compete for every ball in every position.
Shortly into the second half New Mills were level. The team's determination had paid off with a great run and finish by Junior. This started a string of attacks which was equally matched by some great defending by the opposition. New Mills added a second with a goal from Theo midway through the second half. The team continued to play great football for the rest of the game with both teams having several chances and both teams defending extremely well.

The parents' POTM was Brooke. Brooke played in several different positions today and gave her all. Well done Brooke 👏🏻
