NMJFC v Chapel Town U10's
Well semi final day has arrived, and after the two teams played each other in a fantastic game only a couple of weeks ago, the supporters were in for a treat......... and both teams didn't disappoint.
With both teams wanting to go to the final next weekend everyone was putting 110% into their game and the supporters for both teams loved it.
NMJFC got the break first when Ollie smashed the ball into the Chapel Town goal giving the Millers the lead.A few chances went begging for NMJFC with the Chapel Town goalkeeper keeping them at bay.
Chapel got back into the game just before half time setting up for a tense second half.
Both teams had the chances to take the game but NMJFC stood firm as did their opponents.
So to a tense penalty shootout..........
Chapel to take first........ ❌ then up steps Lewis ... 💥
Chapel for their second penalty ✔
Now NMJFC captain George 💥 so Chapel needed to score or NMJFC were through to the final ......... it seemed to take forever....... the ball struck fiercely towards the goal ....... 😧 but unfortunately for Chapel, NMJFC have a super keeper in Dillan who produced a wonder save.......... then the chase was on.
NMJFC and their supporters want to praise Chapel Town on a brilliant, nail biting, tense game of football ..... again.
All the supporters from both teams and the other teams waiting to play were impressed with the team spirit and passion of our U10s.
David Wood domestic appliances man of the match : the whole team 👏
