New Mills hosted division 1's back to back champions, Hazel Grove Jets. Both teams started strong with New Mills taking an early lead after just 4 minutes with Ethan rounding the keeper after a well worked move from the lads.

Jets quickly regained composure and hit back with an equaliser at 11 minutes gone with some fancy dribbling and a cross goal shot finding the bottom corner of the goal. Half time saw The Millers go into the break 2-1 up and in control with thanks to Jayden whose quality run down the line leading to a goal for New Mills. The second half started much like the first with an early goal from Lucas heading in from close range from a Cian corner. Both teams were up for the challenge but New Mills made sure that the points stayed at home following goals from Ethan and Lucas late on in the half. Well done to The Millers for a hard fought 5-4 victory.
