Match Report NMJFC Under 8s - Saturday 12th V Richmond Rovers Sky
The U8’s played against a very good Richmond side who troubled our boys from the very start with a super fast press.
The first half so the boys go down and looking confused, after a half time chat the boys went back out with a clear message to improve and win the second half.
Oli C had a great performance in net against a young man with an absolute rocket of a right foot. The boys began to work around and through little gaps in the press with my favourite moment of the game being Eddie playing a wonderful diagonal ball from the back into space for Rory to run onto and calmly fire it in. Superb vision and execution from both boys. The boys finished the game with a friendly penalty shoot out. I would like to thank the coach of Richmond Rovers for being a class act and allowing the children to just play. Goal from Rory ⚽️ MOTM goes to Rory and Eddie for an excellent joint performance
