Today’s match felt like it contained an entire year’s worth of seasons packed into one hour. One moment the pitch was bathed in sunshine, the next it was rattled by sharp, stinging hailstones, with a bitter cold settling over everything in between. Strong winds, rain and hail made this a really difficult game to play in (and watch 😂). We were also missing a few players however the girls put in a great performance to record a good win. Kicking into the wind first half was tough and the girls went a goal down early on. However they responded well and were the better team as the half went on.
