A place in the final was up for grabs and both teams were determined to put on a show for the spectators in attendance! Match Report NMJFC U11 Girls vs Bollington United U11 Capybaras 14/02/2026
From the first whistle, there was a calm confidence about our match today. Everyone was grateful for Martha taking on the role of goalkeeper – a safe pair of hands who dealt with everything thrown her way. She pulled off some excellent saves and distributed the ball intelligently, setting the tone for attacks with confident throws and well-struck kicks. The training session leading into today’s game focused on passing on the move and holding our formation, and it really showed on the pitch! The team worked hard on keeping their shape and moving the ball quickly. We played some well-structured football , with excellent teamwork and some really sharp passing combinations. New Mills Juniors battled for each other from start to finish, with work rate second to none — especially as we had no game changers to bring on. Every play
