Today’s match, as we’re finding increasingly common now, was a strong all-round team performance, built on confidence growing steadily through the match. Paige started in goal looking a little nervous at first, she quickly settled and grew into the game with real composure. She pulled off some excellent saves at key moments and distributed the ball brilliantly, setting the tone for the team’s attacking play. The Millers started this tense semi cup final well, creating several good attacks but lacking the cutting edge to score. Archie commanded the back line well and made several good saves to keep the visitors at bay, helped by strong defensive work from Alex, Alfie, Stan and Cole. The Millers’ clearest chance of the half fell to Bobby as Darragh crossed from the left, and Bobby looked certain to score, but the Diversity keeper made an outstanding save to keep it all square at th
