Match Report NMJFC U11 Girls vs Altringham FC Juniors U11s Girls Starling 06/12/25
A wet, unsettled day set the stage, with showers drifting in and out, we were also down to only 7 players at the start of the match, down to 5 by half-time, but never phased, the girls met these conditions with grit, determination and purpose. Jessica, guarding the net, delivered one of her most assured performances yet. She handled everything that came her way – one thundering shot even thumped off her chest – but she stayed composed, gathered the ball cleanly, and started
Match Report NMJFC U13s girls v Cheadle & Gatley - 06/12/25
This was a fantastic performance from the girls, without doubt their best of the season. Cheadle had beaten us earlier in the season and are a really good team with an exceptional striker, however the girls dominated for start to finish to progress to the next round of the cup. No Millie, so Ella stepped up to play in goal and she was superb. Ella was great off her line and made some good saves. Defence today were really solid. Neve was amazing as a sweeper and Evie was stron
Match Report – 29th November – New Mills Vipers U8s vs Buxton YB Green.
Always a buzz when the Vipers are playing but an extra special buzz when it’s a cup weekend. Last 16 and the Vipers would face Buxton YB Green. We faced their other team last week who were well drilled and talented, but our Vipers are too and ready any opponent. We were without Thomas this week due to a knee injury but he came down to cheer his teammates on, love that team spirit Thomas! Alistair was captain this week starting on the right with Jude on the left. Leo would

All the Wythenshawe teams seem to be tall so the focus was to keep the ball wide and away from what proved to be a very congested centre-midfield. First of all, it was tim

NMJFC U11 Hornets V Adswood United - 22/11/25
Youth football is all about learning & improving. The result doesn't matter they say, and this is completely true. Sometimes though, it doesn't feel like that...... particularly in the heat of battle! Mid Afternoon kick-off on Saturday, under the floodlights again but this time at a totally new venue for us. The Mike Doyle Centre awaited us and the first thing we noticed was the size of the massive pitch. This suits us down to the ground and allows the boys to play more expans

NMJFC U9's V Whaley Bridge - 23/11/25 - Season 3 - Episode 11 - We're back at Macc!
"If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when others doubt you but make allowance for their doubting too!" - Rudyard Kipling It was great to be 'Back At Macc' on Sunday morning in a hyper competitive game between two teams that go all out against each other and this fixture has produced some of the best games we have seen at such a young level. The Mini-Millers were missing their Goalie. Reuben was celeb
