v. Richmond Rovers Blues

An early morning start against Richmond Rovers faced our boys this morning. The game was end to end and played at a frantic pace with both teams playing fast attacking football.

Oli C faced several tests today, but had the answers producing same great saves. 

Brodie, Leighton, Eddie and Leyton completed a solid defensive performance. Eddie was unlucky not to open the scoring with a excellent taken free kick only for the crossbar to deny him. 

Bobby seemed to be everywhere today, playing as a central defensive midfielder he was back helping his defence when needed as well as moving forward at any opportunity.

Bobbys midfield partners Tyler, Sam, Remo and Jimmy worked tirelessly all game. Always available for a pass and supporting our forwards Harry F and Oli C. 

New Mills goals were scored by Harry F ⚽️⚽️ and Remo ⚽️. 

The ‘brain mat’ sponsored player of the match goes to Harry F today who was clinical with his passing, positioning to receive the ball and teamwork today. Well done Harry. 👏🏻👏🏻
