Match Report NMJFC U10s - 18/10/25

The U10’s were up against local rivals Whaley Bridge today at Stockport Sports Village for an afternoon kick off.

Whaley were quick off the mark and immediately put pressure on our defence. Some loose marking early on gave them a well-earned goal for their efforts.

We responded well, growing into the game with better passing, control and movement. The equaliser came before the break after a well-saved shot was followed up by Dylan at the back post.

In the second half, a few changes saw Teddy move up front and Charlie J slot into central midfield. The added pace and energy brought more attacking momentum, and we were really pleased to see Stanley, Rhys and Charlie J add to the scoring.

Even while pushing forward, the defence stayed organised with Charlie T and Pavak solid at the back, and James dependable as ever in goal.

It was one of the team’s strongest performances so far – great teamwork, energy, and smiles all round. With such high effort from every player, a single Player of the Match just couldn’t be chosen!
