Match Report NMJFC U11’s v UK Sports Greys - 19/09/26
The U11s were back at Stockport Sports Village today, taking on UK Sports Greys.
Some of the boys remembered UK Sports from when they first started out at U7, so we knew from the start that we’d have a game on our hands.
The Millers started well. There were a few early nerves, but the boys quickly settled into their rhythm, passing the ball well and holding their own.
It wasn’t long before we opened the scoring, and from there the confidence really started to grow.
Pass after pass, with complete trust in one another, and the determination to recover from any mistakes and always have each other’s backs. The boys were playing some fantastic football, and today they really looked like a team playing on another level.
All the hard work and practice in training came together superbly, with the boys putting everything they’ve been working on into practice.
Some great goals from Stanley, Dylan and Charlie, with some excellent assists from our midfielders too.
A special mention also has to go to our defensive trio and goalkeeper James, who kept things tight at the back and played out from defence fantastically well.
Another fantastic performance from the boys. Plenty to be proud of today!
