Match Report NMJFC U11s Girls - 11/11/23

U11 Girls vs Stockport County

Two players ill today (get well soon Lily and Florence) meant that the team were down to just 7 players against a good Stockport side.

This could have been a difficult match but the girls were all great today and worked really hard as a team.

After missing the last game, Millie was back in goal and was brilliant as usual with some exceptional saves that produced applause from the opposition manager.

In defence both Erin and Isla were strong in the tackle and were able to stop numerous attacks.

Tallulah and Emily both worked really hard today, covering large distances across the pitch. It was a top performance from both today.

Elise and Brooke also worked hard today and during the second half especially looked to play some good football. A deserved goal shortly followed when Brooke ⚽️ finished well passed the keeper

Anyone could have been player of the match today but the trophy went to Millie🏆 Brilliant goalkeeping!
