This was a fast paced game with some special moments from our boys. The boys started fast and were determined to press forward at every opportunity. Goal keeper for the day was Leighton who played fantastic, making some important saves and varied his kick outs to keep his opponents guessing.
Bobby and Joseph were there usual solid selves, in defence with Harry P playing defensive midfield to give extra support at the back when required.
Max and Jimmy played central midfield with Remo, Tyler, Oli F and Lucas playing wide and Harry F up front.
The Millers opened the scoring with Oli F cutting in from the wing and blasting his shot to the top corner not giving the opposition goal keeper a chance of saving it.
Leading at half time the Millers were determined to keep pushing and extending their lead.
While Wythenshawe pushed forward looking for an equaliser, it suited the Millers to use their pace to counter attack and it was Oli F again with his second to double the Millers lead.
With minutes remaining Wythenshawe got a scrappy goal to make it a tense finish but the boys kept their composure to finish victorious and push themselves to joint league leaders to make it an interesting run to the end of the season.
The players of the match were Bobby & Harry P. Not for the first time this season these two lads bossed the game. Well done boys!
