Match Report NMJFC U12s v Reddish North End - 03/02/24

On a sodden grass pitch at the Mike Doyle centre the Mini Millers tried to adapt as best they could to play their football where they could.

Solid defending from Cole, Alex and Daniel was a good base to play from.

Bobby, Darragh, Cookie and India controlled midfield and attacked the Reddish back line at every opportunity.

Dan W worked the defenders and held the ball up well to allow the midfielders to join the attacks.

Several high quality goals were scored with India’s first of the season a notable highlight.

Darragh ⚽️⚽️ Harry ⚽️⚽️ Dan W ⚽️⚽️ Mayson ⚽️, Cookie ⚽️⚽️ and Bobby with a long range opening goal.

Archie’s distribution and handling was superb in tricky conditions.

Bertie created lots of chances for team mates to score and was unlucky not to score himself.

A superb team effort with vast amounts of mud everywhere.

Player of the match was Dan Walker.
