The Mini Millers started this game brightly with Archie confidently playing out from the back, the backline of Bobby, Daniel and Cole were defending well.
The midfield was being bossed by Jess and Indi with Darragh and Bertie terrorising the opposition full backs at every opportunity.
Harry T worked hard to link play and close down the Reddish backline.
Several chances came and went and it was Reddish who took the lead with a well taken goal after an excellent counter attack.
The Millers responded superbly with several great crosses just evading the final touch or the Reddish keeper making strong saves to keep the Millers out.
The equaliser eventually came after Darragh delivered a quality ball into the box and skipper Bobby shook off his marker with a lovely double movement to power his header into the roof of the net.
Dan W and Mayson added energy to the performance in the second half and Alex defended superbly against the excellent Reddish winger.
The Millers got in front after several good passages of play saw Darragh deliver again and Bertie tap home for a deserved lead.
The Millers then created several chances to kill the game off but could not convert any of them. Reddish then got an equaliser from a cross that looped over Archie’s head and into the net.
The Millers, as they have all season went again and created several chances but could not find the winner. As the Millers pressed for the winner Reddish nearly stole the 3 points with Archie making an amazing triple save to keep the Reddish striker at bay.
The game ended with both teams having played excellent football making an excellent spectacle for the parents to enjoy.
Archie was the Millers player of the match for the triple save that won his team a point on a day where they could have easily taken all 3.
A solid team performance to build on for the last part of the season.
