Match Report NMJFC U13s v Inter Cheadle South. 17/12/23

Joel Wood had to have a late fitness test and was passed fit to play by the medical team. Also top goal scorer Alfie Ned was back meaning the Millers had 13 players this week.

The Millers parents were in for an early Christmas treat this week, with some excellent tiki taka football on show from the Millers.

Captain, Lewis was running the show in midfield and played a lovely ball out wide to Toby who's cross, come shot managed to put the ball in to the top corner of the net.

A mix up with the Millers defence then saw the Inter Cheadle striker one on one with Dillan who made himself big to pull off a cracking save.

Second half and again some great passing found Alfie in the box who smashed in two great goals.

The best was yet to come when Bogdan picked the ball up half way in the Inter half and fired the ball into the goal breaking the net.

Some great football from all the lads today but the man of the match went to Lewis who worked his socks off in midfield and did a great job as captain.

Up the millers ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
