The Millers were a little threadbare with several absences through injury for this home fixture with Middleton who sat above the Millers in the table and were unbeaten going into today’s game.
The Millers started brightly and were passing the ball with purpose and intent.
Darragh was terrorising the full back on their side and Bertie the same on the other.
Mayson was working hard pressing and winning the ball back for the team. Bobby was controling midfield with great composure and India and Fletcher were winning all their duels and linking play superbly and at high tempo.
The back line of Alex, Daniel, Tommy and Cole stood firm in the early exchanges and battled hard when they needed too.
Archie was calm and composed and distributed with real accuracy to find Bertie and Darragh on multiple occasions to start attacks off.
Darragh opened the scoring after Bertie’s assist and then scored a second after great work from India.
Bobby then assisted Darragh for well taken hat trick.
Bertie with more good wing play assisted Darragh for his fourth of the game.
Middleton pulled one back from a set piece which spurred the Millers on.
Darragh turned provider assisting Bobby who finished well from distance.
Middleton got there second after a defensive mixup and the Millers responded quickly again.
The second half the Millers mostly controlled the game Archie playing a superb pass to Bertie who add his name to the score sheet.
Tommy then came forward from the back to head a home a fantastic delivery from Bobby.
Darragh finished off the scoring with another excellent assist from India after super hold up play from Gregory.
The Millers were fantastic from start to finish
And deserved their win.
Player of the game went to Stan for climbing off his sick bed to play and delivered a superb defensive display for the team. 👏👏👏
