Maccabi Manchester Sharks u15 v New Mills u15

Away day for the Millers this week in Preswich for a 1:30 kick off. Game was delayed 15 minutes so we were eager to get going.

First 5 minutes the Millers were pressing and probing but struggled to find the shooting accuracy that were used to seeing.

Before the game had gone 10 minutes in the Millers were deservedly ahead. From then on in the first half the Millers dominated the game all over the pitch and found themselves with a comfortable lead.

Playing some good football and whenever losing the ball were quick to win it back.

New striker Finn was on fire again.

Will in midfield also doing all the gritty work and earning himself a goal with a 25 yard rocket into the roof of the home teams net.

Jack D also on the score sheet.

2nd half was a little different we rotated the squad but still had the majority of the ball, the home team scored a couple of good goals themselves but the Millers were too strong again and goals from Alfie and Jom put the game to bed.

Jack H was brilliant in net the highlight of his game was a triple save that I still don’t know how he pulled off.
