Started off 6 a side for both teams this week to make us more solid and to have more options when we have the ball.

In goal Seb for the first half and Henry for the second – between them some great saves made and really solid performances.

Outfield including substitutions we had Joseph, Louie, Tobias, Alfred, Angus and Charlie.

IThe match got off to a good start with goals from both sides. New Mills kept their formation and positioning strong throughout and continued to battle the opposition. We saw some great attacks at goal and we dominated the ball but just couldn’t score on some occasions.

Throughout the match there was some great passing, great awareness, plus the weight of the final pass, and pass care was brilliant.

Counter attacks on both sides, it really was a tough game for all.

Overall some really good football from us today, the passing and moving and defending has improved massively in the last few weeks, the lads should be proud.

MOTM Charlie, as the game went on he got better and better and more confident. He played really well with the ball, wasn’t scared to get stuck in and produced some really good shots to get the ball up field.
