Match report NMJFC U7s - 04/03/23

A cold late morning start for the Millers at Brinnington, against Reddish Villarettes.

As with many recent games, James started as our goalkeeper today, making sure the Villarettes didn’t get the better of him, helped by some great defending work by Charlie and Tobias.

Tobias made his first appearance for a few weeks due to injury, great to have you back in the team !

Teddy and Stanley in midfield, making lots of good moves with Rhys as striker.

After the break, a change of goalkeeper with Tobias taking a turn, and picking up from where James left with a solid performance.

More of the same in the second half with Stanley getting some goals, with Rhys and James also adding their names to the scoresheet.

A great display today, we’ve been working on our in game positioning, and this was reflected in our possession today. Also, all getting back to defend together when needed. Well done everyone !

Player of the match went to Stanley today. Some great goals, and super work effort !

Well done New Mills ⚽️💛🖤
