Match Report NMJFC U9 Vipers - 03/10/26
What a game of football it was this week for the Vipers. They have started the season in tremendous form playing some great team football.
This week against a fantastic Inter Cheadle East team the Vipers faced a stern test. They rise to every challenge and did their best to rise to this one too.
We didn't have a full squad with Freddie & Leo unavailable, but the rest of the squad played magnificent together.
We had Lily and Thomas playing new positions with great enthusiasm, Kit playing one of his best games at centre back, Logan with a freekick which is one of the truest top bin strikes you will see all season, Kingsley making countless superb saves and handling well, JJ battling hard for every yard with his ankle getting better every week and Alistair as a machine up and down the right side supporting attacks and defending well.
Player of the week this week though, as nominated by Inter Cheadle team, was Elliott with his strong finishing, pressing high, creativity going forward and strong running with the ball causing havoc for our opponents.
Big thanks to Inter Cheadle for a great game, we look forward to playing you again a few times more in the coming weeks....
