Match report NMJFC Under 10s - 22/01/22

An early one this morning for us down at The Powerleague in Stockport, so early in fact that Rick was still snoring away at kick off 😂🤣

It was a slow start for our lads against a quick off-the-mark UK Sports Warriors and they penalised us with a great 4-0 lead at half time. We often let a strong lead get the better of us but not today. Heads were held high and the boys continued to work hard in the second half and were rewarded for their efforts with 2 great goals, one by Dan Walker and the other, following an excellent corner delivered by Ollie and converted by the head of Bertie. The Warriors managed to get another few goals, although there could have been a greater lead was it not for an excellent off-the-goal line header from a free kick from Darragh to prevent the goal.

Special mention to our MOM today, Ollie H who battled hard throughout, kept his head and played some fantastic football, passing and using his teammates extremely well.
