v. Bollington United Bees

The boys faced an extra challenge today with freezing cold weather conditions this morning. Along with a 9:00am start against a very good Bollington team, the Millers knew they had to start fast this morning.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, it took a little time for the boys to get started but the ever dependable Oli C in goals along with Brodie, Eddie, Leighton and Bobby’s strong defensive performances kept New Mills in the game. Leighton and Bobby worked tirelessly today always willing to back track from the midfield to help out their defence when needed.

The boys battling performances at the back produced some great chances throughout the game for the midfielders of Remo, Jimmy, Harry F, Tyler, Oli F, Leyton and Sam to attack at pace throughout the game.

New Mills scored two fantastic goals today, both goals came from fast play out from the back and was expertly finished from Remo and Eddie.

The ‘brain mat’ sponsored man of the match goes to Leighton. Leighton was great today. Well done Leighton.
