Match report NMJFC Under 11 girls - 10/04/22

NMJFC u11 Girls Vs FC Bluestars

3rd game left this season this morning against the Bluestars who we’d never faced before.

Our pre match chat proved just what a great team these girls are, how they work together and celebrate each other’s differences.

It’s never all about the goals though today’s game was full of them from both sides.

This morning they decided their focus was to get two of our players onto the scoreboard and boy did it show. 100% work rate from every player today.

Shout out to Bluestars’ coach who was incredibly supportive before and through the game and spoke very highly of the New Mills side.

Bella our Captain, you were so determined today, full of confidence on the ball, can’t praise your work rate enough during the whole game and you were also highly commended by Bluestar’s Manager who said you filled the role of Captain superbly! With the home supporters on the side-line cheering on the girls, our smiling winger Nieve never gave up trying to find the back of the net in the second half whilst everyone held their breath and spurred her on. Some great supportive play to try and make it happen…just perfect!

Two games to go. Lets go girls.

Girl of the game & well deserved was Bella. Well done.
