New Mills u12s v Stockport junior blues.
First game of the new season today for the u12s, nice to start off with a game at home and it was great to get going again.
New Mills we’re quick out of the blocks and were a threat straight away to the away teams goal,minutes later the ball was in New Mills area, so we presumed it would be an end to end game from the get go. It wasn’t to be though….
New Mills played good football throughout the game, everybody was enjoying it, encouraging each other and looked to be having fun. All the lads did there jobs and were well in control of the game from start to finish. Was good to see some of our new signings play today. We have a big squad this year compared to last so look forward to the season ahead, if we can carry on like we played today and that attitude we shouldn’t have many problems.
Fair play to Stockport junior blues, heads didn’t drop and they played right to the end.
