Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 19/03/23

High Lane u 12s v New Mills u12s

It was the Millers first ever trip to High Lane with a 11 kickoff. One game played before us and the pitch was wet and muddy.

The game started and High Lane pushed the Millers back into own half for the first 15 minutes.

The Millers was trying to use the wings with Josh working hard on the left and Cary on the right and the Millers started to get Into the game.

Half time 0-0

Second half the Millers started to attack and Lewis opened the scoring with a wonderful goal beating 4 High Lane players.

After seeing this Bogden was wanting a goal and a great through ball from George saw Bogden beat 2 defenders and score. High Lane started to attack the Millers defence but Ross was putting in some quality tackles.

With 5 minutes left High Lane scored making it 2-1.

The Millers management decided to park the bus and put an extra defender on to see out the game.

Great game against to local teams and a big thanks to Andy who reffed our game.
