Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 27/02/23

NMJFC u12's Vs Offerton. 

With only playing the opposition last week the team knew what to expect........ and the Millers started the game brilliantly.

Lots of chances being created very early and Ollie. Mc was blatantly fouled for a penalty which he took himself and scored ⚽

The Millers didn't let up and with the ball looping up after a save from the Offerton GK, Bogdan headed the Millers into a 2 goal lead.

With the Millers dominating the game all over the pitch, it was a surprise when Offerton grabbed a goal before half time.

After a good talk at half time the boys were switched on and wanted to get back out playing. They started positive, with George and Ross looking comfortable and composed at the back. Ollie. Mc and Lewis with a superb goal on his birthday weekend seemed to put the Millers out of sight, but with the game taking abit of an ugly turn the Millers seemed to lose their concentration and Offerton got back into the game.

Big shout out to the referee who was officiating one of his first games and did a fantastic job whilst up against some tricky moments.

The boys put in a very good performance, but the chosen J TAYLOR ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS M.o.M went to George who captained the team well and was composed at the back with Ross. This Sunday the boys have a semi-final against chapel. K/O is 10am so please get to Chapel High School and give them some support.
