Match report NMJFC Under 12s - 30 May 2021

Last game of the season played in glorious sunshine this morning against our friends in Adswood. Always a belting battle between the two sides whenever they get together!

So after an under par midweek game our U12s were determined to leave with the 3 points today, finish the season on a high and started with the much needed umph that was lacking on Thursday.

Saying that its been a funny old season with alls thats gone on this past year. We're extremely lucky to have had the kids play the game in such strange circumstances so regardless of results win, lose or draw we've been thankful the children managed to spend time together doing what they love when many others couldn't for reasons beyond anyones control.

Back to the game...

Im not going to go into too much detail as EVERY player on the pitch worked hard today and New Mills deserved the result they came away with this morning, there's no doubts about that.

A close game where our U12s played the better football and worked better together as a TEAM to take those 3 points and cement their place in division 1 for next season as U13s.⚽️⚽️
