Cheadle & Gatley Hurricanes 3 - 4 New Mills

With the lads not having played a competitive match since before Christmas we found ourselves 2-0 down after 20mins. The boys then stepped up a gear and managed to pull the score level before half time with 2 well taken goals from Ethan against his former team. We then started to play some nice football in the second half and deserved to take the lead to go 3-2 ahead with Ethan getting his hat trick. Cheadle did come back to level the game again before Ethan scored his 4th of the game to finish the scoring. Some excellent performances across the team today with Baggy making some important saves and Marley, Cian and Bob working hard in defence. Callum was the pick for MOM though with an impressive display in centre mid. Well done to all the boys everyone put in a shift today.
