Another 1pm kick off at Brinnington today for our fixture against Wythenshaw Celtic.
NM were fast from the start today, Stanley quick off the mark, thanks to a kick off routine we had been trying to improve on for the past couple of weeks.
Wythenshaw were soon back in the game with some great play. Whilst this was probably our closest game yet, they maintained the lead going into the break.
A reshuffle at half time and a we were back at it. A turning point shortly followed, a free kick taken by Stanley. This is something which he had been practicing in training, and was great to see him convert another free kick, and from a considerable distance.
More goals followed from Stanley, with everyone putting in a huge effort to see the game out.
A special mention to Rhys who put in some great tackles, and James in goal who had another good day.
Player of the match today went to Stanley. Today’s performance was on another level, by far the fastest on the pitch coupled with the most hunger and desire, there was no stopping him.
