Match report NMJFC Under 7s Yellows - 13/02/22

Another week of awful weather for the team (matches were cancelled later in the day), but both teams battled through despite the rain and wind…well done!!!

Despite all the Yellow’s efforts in the first half, they were behind at half-time to a solitary goal, that came from Chapel Towns U7s Colts very first attack. The same pattern continued in the second half, with the Yellow’s dominating, but the Colts seemed to score with each attack. The difference in the second half was that the Yellow’s started to find the back of the net. A tense affair saw the Yellows a goal or two behind throughout the half. Goals from Charlie (1), James (2) with some clever finishes and Ronan (2) with a couple of absolute rockets kept things close.

The determination and fight that they showed throughout the second half was immense, what an amazing team effort. I hope they enjoy a well-deserved week off next weekend (no doubt the weather will be beautiful!)
