New Mills V Glossop Reds

The Mini Millers met Glossop again in the High Peak League on a wet and windy morning.

New Mills were a player down and Glossop kindly offered us a player… up stepped James!

The team went out and tried to apply the NM U9 style of play, showing glimpses of attractive football. The highlight was a well worked team goal starting from our goalkeeper (James), who delivered the ball out wide where Ollie Forde hit a well timed diagonal pass to Rory who charged down the right wing and cut the ball back into the area where it found Reuben, who was able to tap the ball in from close range.

This hasn’t happened to our team before but MOTM goes to James of Glossop 🏆 who was quick to offer his services to our team and gave his all against his fellow friends.
