Another early kick-off at Glossopdale this morning for our game against Chinley U7 Greens.

Having played this opposition a couple of weeks ago, the Falcons knew exactly what they needed to do to try and build on the excellent progress they’ve been making recently. Straight from kick-off the Falcons showed their intent with some fantastic passing and attacking play, not giving the opposition any time on the ball and with Chinley playing very narrow in the middle, making the most of the space down both wings.

A fantastic brace from Poppy ⚽️⚽️ and a goal from Lucas ⚽️ meant the ever positive vocal supporters were treated to a brilliant game and rightly celebrated with the Falcons at the final whistle. Special mention to today’s captain Oscar. Building on his great performances recently with a clean sheet today. His confidence and presence in goal gets better every week. His distribution was excellent today and he made some great decisions when coming out of his goal.

An all round fantastic performance by everyone today - super proud of them all as they continue to develop as a team.
