Match report U12 Yellows Boys (4) v Reddish NE Whites (1)

Another early morning start this week.

It was a slow frustrating start for the team who struggled to keep the ball under control for large parts of the first half.

Keeper Oli C, defenders Eddie, Joseph, Brodie and Bobby were kept busy but as usual battled hard and were ready for whatever came their way.

New Mills got into their stride with 10 minutes left in the first half creating some great chances with Remo and Oli F going close before Remo finally hit the back of the net to give New Mills to lead.

New Mills started the 2nd half strongest playing the ball out from the back well using Tyler and Oli F on the wings to open up space for Remo, Jimmy, Lucas, Bobby and the two Harry’s to push forward through the middle.

Entering the last 15 minutes of the games New Mills’ fitness started to show and rounded out the game in great style with goals from Jimmy, Harry P and a 2nd for Remo giving the boys a 3rd win of the season.

The ‘brainmat’ man of the match goes to Joseph for his never say die attitude today.
