Match report NMJFC U10s - 17/09/22
New Mills V Benchill Celtic.
It was brilliant to have the kids back for a new season on a cold Saturday morning.
The team started slowly and found themselves behind very quickly. The team never gave up and managed to get ahead at halftime.
The second half saw the Mini Millers really take control of the game and started to dominate. The goalkeeper did a super job with his shot stopping and made a incredible save from a free kick. The defence were brilliant at playing from the back drawing in the other team playing around or over the opponents. The midfield was well balanced with skill and good technique next to strength and courage.
The forwards were composed and helped move defenders to allow midfielders to run through.

P.O.T.M goes to Leighton 🏆 who was solid in defence and listened to instructions beautifully.
