Match report NMJFC U10s Girls - 19/11/22

U10s Girls vs Stockport dynamos

The girls put in a really strong first half performance against an experienced Stockport side on Saturday. This was perhaps their best performance of the season and shows how the team continues to develop.

Defensively the team were good, Isla, Florence and the excellent Emily were relatively solid against the Stockport attackers.

When called upon in goal, do you know, it's Millie never lets the team down and she pulled off some good saves.

The attacking play was good to see today. Elsie and Lily were always a threat to the Stockport defence. Maisie did well in what was her first game for a number of weeks and Erin made a good debut for the team.

During the second half a number of positional changes were made however the girls continued to play well as a team

Some good play by Elsie, Isla and Florence created a goal for Emily ⚽️ which was her first of the season. Emily also took the player of the match award and was perhaps the best player on the pitch today.
