Match Report NMJFC u11’s HPJFL - vs Glossop 05/11/23

Bonfire night and a match up against a strong Glossop team and all the New Mills parents wanted to see some fireworks from the kids and that’s exactly what they delivered.

We got off to a flying start taking the lead through a screamer from Sam.

Glossop quickly equalised and went it at half time level.

Told the kids at half time to keep the energy levels up and work as hard as they did in the first half which is exactly what they did.

Took our chances with an expertly finished off goal by Remo.

Some brilliant saves from Theo made for a great game.

Without doubt our best performance of the season and parents and coaches were all proud of the effort put in, especially considering we had no subs and Glossop had four.

Player of the match went to Isaac for a brilliant performance in centre midfield. Think he won every tackle he went in for and distributed the ball expertly. Well done.
