Match report NMJFC U11 v Hollingworth Vipers. 05/03/23

Before kick off today, all teams perfectly observed a minutes silence for Paul Hawtin. A Chapel coach who was part of the HPJFL family. Our thoughts are with his family.

Todays match was an excellent watch with both teams playing some excellent football and creating lots of goal scoring chances, along with superb last ditch defending and flying goalkeeper saves.

Chase with super saves throughout and excellent distribution. Darragh, Tommy and Alex defending with great energy and determination.

Bobby and Indi battled hard in midfield with Gregory and Bert attacking well down the wings supplying Stan with crosses to attack.

Dan, Lincoln and Cole came on in the second half and the level maintained throughout the team.

Two excellent goals were scored by Dan ⚽️ and Bert ⚽️

Lincoln came close to his first goal for the club with the keeper making a good save to deny him.

Lincoln won lots of duels and is starting to find his feet in the team which is great to see.

Cole playing on defence was strong in the tackle and passed well when he could.

Dan took player of the match from the parents with an excellent all action typical display as the focal point of the attack.

A super team performance with lots to admire from the whole team.

This team are a delight to coach every week with their fantastic attitude and love of the game shining through.

keep working hard Mini Millers 👊
