Match Report NMJFC U11s - 12/09/26
Today the U11’s took on Richmond Rovers Napoli in the KO cup.
We had a full squad available for today’s game, but with Napoli short on numbers, we agreed to play 6v6. A huge thank you to all the boys for their cooperation and for adapting to the many changes throughout the game to make sure everyone got plenty of game time.
The boys started really well, putting together some excellent passing moves and showing great teamwork from the start.
Hugo opened the scoring for us, getting to the back post to meet a sublime ball in from Stanley.
Goals from Stanley, Charlie and Dylan, along with some great attacking play and movement throughout.
Another fantastic performance from James in goal, making some important saves and continuing to show his reliability between the sticks.
Player of the Match, however, went to Rhys, who was on another level today. He was excellent from the back, constantly organising those around him and playing a huge part in helping us build attacks with some really good passing and movement.
A great team performance all round, and the boys deserve a lot of credit for adapting so well and continuing to play some really positive football. ⚽👏
