v Tytherington Juniors (7.9.24)

A GAME OF TWO HALVES …………….. 

This was definitely a game of two halves. Our boys started brightly, keeping the ball on the ground playing their fast passing style that brought us great success last season. 

Having controlled the first half by solid defending, creating several chances only to be denied going into half time leading by some great shot stopping from the Tytherington goalkeeper. 

Tytherington started the second half strong and put pressure on every New Mills player, not giving the boys a chance to settle.

Eventually the pressure got too much for the Millers and Tytherington finished the game really strong. 

The ‘brainmat’ player of the match goes to 

Harry P who never gave up trying even when things started to go wrong in the second half.
