v NMJFC U8 Eagles

A New Mills Derby was on the cards at Glossopdale on Sunday with 2 teams who play each other regularly in training every week.

The Hawks again demonstrated the excellent positional work that we’ve introduced in our training sessions and worked really hard applying pressure when the Eagles were in possession.

Lots of rotation with our subs in this game with all of them getting time in different roles with different instructions which was fantastic to see.

Man of the Match: Kian for his outstanding focus in the second half, constantly chasing down when not in possession working hard to win the ball back for his team. Kian also played a great first half in goal and did a great job.

Big shout out to Gav and his Eagles team who faced us in only their second competitive match - fantastic and exciting bunch of players. I’m sure they’ll have a great season.
