New Mills u10 v Richmond Maroons
The Millers started slowly with two quick fire goals for Richmond.
Bertie pulled one back with a cool finish.
Richmond then scored another excellent long range goal.
The mini millers replied with two excellent goals from Ollie.
Richmond scored again with another well worked team goal.
This time Bertie replied reacting to a through ball and poking it home.
The final goal of the game went to Darragh who scored a free kick into the top corner after a clever lay off from Bertie.
Harry and Cole distributed superbly to Bertie and Darragh on the wings.
Stan and Bobby linking up well playing out from the back meant a lot of joy in the second half for the Millers in their attacking play.
Dan F was dominant at both ends of the pitch.
Darragh and Ollie were relentless in their running for the team.
Freddie and Dan W worked tirelessly and linked up well, Freddie winning strong tackles and Dan W defending from the front for the team.
The quality of passing and team play was superb to watch. Also the never give up attitude when goals down in a game of this team is something to be very proud of for Liam, Rob and myself.
Mom was Cole for his outstanding positional play along with strong tackling and superb distribution playing out from the back.
Special mention today for Ronan as returning team mascot and also debutant mascot Ralphie.
