Match report NMJFC Under 10s girls - 06/05/23

U10 girls vs Ashton

Fantastic end to end match this morning which demonstrated the progress made by the girls this season.

A couple of players were missing today including Millie which meant that a few of the girls had to step up and have a go in goal.

Elsie, Isla, Lily & Emily all did really well and credit it to them for giving it a go.

First half was really close. Lily, Isla and Holly all came close to a goal and at the back.

Florence defended well at all times.

Second half was more open and and saw a few goals for each team.

Elsie scored a fantastic hat trick  ⚽️⚽️⚽️.

All three were really clinical finishes and followed some good football by the team. The passing today was great to see with Lily and Emily in particular linking up well in midfield and creating goals.

Tough call for player of the match today but the trophy went to Emily🏆 for an all round top performance. 👏🏻
