The ‘brain mat’ sponsored team played a very spirited Hayfield team this week in the High Peak League this week.

The Mini Millers started amazingly playing some great football, creating several opportunities with fast play from defence to attack. The Mini Millers were eventually rewarded for their pressure with a well taken goal from Remo. Further goals from Reuben and Remo left the team in a comfortable position at half time.

With several positional changes at half time New Mills continued their fast-attacking style of play adding two more goals from Dexter.

With 10 minutes left on the clock, the Mini Millers started to tire, and Hayfield came alive with some very determined play of their own.

The POTM was Dexter. Dexter was amazing today, scoring two goals and making some amazing runs from the defence.
