NMJFC U11'S Vs Poynton Blacks

Against a very competent opponent NMJFC went about the game in the correct manner.

Every player from GK to Striker worked tirelessly and put in a very very good performance. With every player giving his opposite a tussle.

NMJFC had some chances that were either very well defended or saved but after winning a free kick Ollie M whipped a good ball in for George to catch on the volley and drill into the Poynton Goal.

Poynton seemed to wake up after conceding and started to test the NMJFC defence.

A quick break saw them grab a quick goal then from a cross they scored from a header.

NMJFC never gave up and were unlucky not to grab a second themselves.

The management team were finding it really hard to pick a MOM as all through the team everyone put a hard shift in.

A mention for Stan, Lewis and George who did excellent but the trophy went to Cary.

New Mills are growing as a team in every game and are settling into the 9 aside and offside rule very well. The past few performances have been very encouraging.
