Mountfield Rovers v New Mills u11s
The Millers travelled to Bramhall this week and were keen to carry on their momentum of their last few games, they did not disappoint. They were on the front foot straight away and the ball was in the home goal within 5 minutes. The whole team were working together and were encouraging with heads held high. The Millers continued to attack, with the wingers working well and could have been out of sight after 20 mins. Mountfield didn’t give up and created the odd chance themselves, but nothing too much to trouble Archie in net. Half time approached and The Millers were controlling the game and we’re ahead at the interval.
2nd half and The Millers seemed even better, every time they broke they looked like scoring, the home keeper making some excellent saves from close range to keep them in the game. The remainder of the game was the same, dominant football from New Mills creating chance after chance. There were goals galore for the fans again. Something seems to be clicking at the minute and it’s great to see. Well done Millers, awesome from everybody.
