NMJFC u11s vs Stalybridge
Another really entertaining game this season and another good performance from the Millers. Last year Stalybridge dominated this fixture but today it was an even game, showing the progress made by all the players.
The New Mills defensive line of Oscar, Maxi and Jake played well 1st half but Stalybridge took a narrow lead into the half time break.
Early second half saw the Millers get a deserved goal through Lewis ⚽️ following a great run and finish.
Stalybridge fought back well but New Mills dug deep again and Harris ⚽️ scored with an excellent first time finish.
Shortly after New Mills scored again with Ben’s⚽️ shot taking a deflection off the defender.
Again Stalybridge came back into it and scored in the final minute with a great strike, making the scoreline and even and fair result.
MOTM today was Josh. Another outstanding display in midfield with lots of skill and energy.
