NMJFC u11 Dynamos vs Glossop

The Millers put in a good display today against one of the strongest teams in the league, in what was an evenly contested game and result.

The New Mills defensive line in the first half of Jake, Oscar and Nat all put in strong performances with Luca and Lewis controlling the midfield.

New Mills scored towards the end of the half when Toby ⚽️ forced the Glossop defence into an error.

Second half resulted in a change of a few positions but the performance stayed strong.

Maxi worked hard in forward positions and Harris had a really good second half at right back.

Olly led the line well and created chances for others.

In goal, Jack, made some great saves but was unlucky as Glossop grabbed a couple of goals.

The Millers became stronger as the game went on and scored a few more goals.

Having had an earlier goal ruled out for offside, Ben ⚽️ scored with an excellent finish after being played through by Toby. Late in the game Toby⚽️ grabbed his second of the game following good work by Lewis, Ben and Olly

2 players were awarded Man of the Match today - Oscar was strong at the back and was the stand out player first half. Second half Toby stood out with lots of good play alongside his goals and assists.
