NMJFC U14 Girls 1-7 Great Moor U14 Girls
A much closer game than the scoreline suggests. The game was played in awful cold and wet conditions. 1st half was a very competitive match where both teams played some nice football. New Mills took the lead with Olivia tapping in from close range from a corner. Great Moor went in at halftime 2-1 ahead using the wings well and putting good balls into the box. The 2nd half started and Great Moor scored a goal which seemed to dampen the girls spirits. A 10 minute bad spell had us 7-1 down with Great Moor playing some nice football.
It's clear to see that the girls are ready to learn and are continually improving. They should be proud of there efforts.
GOG - Olivia, scored a good goal from a corner. Worked really hard in the 1st half, putting in plenty of tackles and was key to starting attacks.
