Match report NMJFC Under 15s - 20 April 2021

New Mills v Hazel Grove Jets

After a good win in the cup at the weekend, it was our last league match of this season against a strong Hazel Grove team. After a good start to the game from both teams it was New Mills who took the lead with a nice move resulting in a fine finish from MOTM Callum. Hazel Grove then started to pass and move the ball round really well and although the boys continued to battle they found themselves 4-1 down at the break. The 2nd half was again tough for the lads but they never gave up and other than a few mistakes towards the end should be proud of the performance. On to the cup games now and if we put the same effort in to the remaining games we showed tonight we should finish the season well.
