Match report NMJFC Under 8s Eagles - 24/04/22

What a perfect day for a nice game of football and a big thank you to the High Peak League and all the referees who give up their time every week.

We were down a couple of players so we knew it would be a tough game.

First half

We started out on the front foot with loads of time on the ball pushing forwards resulting with some great shots on target

Well done 👏

Second half

We were put on the back foot which meant plenty of defensive work but then tired legs was starting to settle which allowed a well organised Whaley Bridge team get in behind us.

A big shout out to our captain today, Zak, who did an amazing job in defensive and also in goal in the second half. Well done. 👏🏻
