Match Report - NMJU8 Falcons - Sunday 3rd October

A cold windy morning at Glossopdale for the Falcons as they took on CHCS U8 Lions.

It’s been a slow start to the season for the Falcons but they took a big step forwards this morning against a strong opposition.

Their focus and determination was excellent today. The whole team listened to their instructions, worked hard for each other and kept going right until the final whistle.

No goals today, but through their improved positioning and passing sequences, they did create a few decent chances.

Special mention to today’s captain Angus who arguably played his best game in the famous yellow shirt. His understanding of the game is getting better each week. His listening, positioning and tackling were amazing today.
